I learned new things that I did not know even though I watch the news. Like the family members of 911 victims are now being able to sue Siberia. "News literacy is the acquisition of 21st-century, critical-thinking skills for analyzing and judging the reliability of news and information, differentiating among facts, opinions and assertions in the media we consume, create and distribute. It can be taught most effectively in cross-curricular, inquiry-based formats at all grade levels. It is a necessary component for literacy in contemporary society".News papers play a huge part in our democracy because news is part of an everyday citizen life, like me and yourself. We play an important part in news because we can have the freedom to write whatever we want. This is good because the goverment doesn't control our news but there are some crazies out there.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
