There are poor people in the US
and their plight is always ignored
, The government don't want to know
- but they invite others on board.
The lunatics of the asylum are in the
government,
Making a bloody mess and a total argument.
The US has poor people -
yet they are all penalised,
Maybe because of their culture, as they are so despised.
The US is now FULL - and we cannot take anymore,
We should copy Australia
- and show immigrants the door!

Picture
The yarn connecting TLP and the conceded man planet's symbolized the little prince on his journey and he is exploring the conceded man's planet. The conceded man is in the center because he thinks the world revolves around him.  The little prince is off to the side looking down because the conceded man is thinks he the best dressed and best everything and the little prince recognizes  the man is conceded and is the only man on the planet.

The topic of my abstract art was conflict. We started off with an eraser. An eraser is made out of rubber. Rubber comes from rubber trees. Rubber trees are found in the Amazon. The Amazon is part of the envioment. We use the enviorment as resources. Adventully this would lead to deforresation. Deforestation would lead to conflict. In my art I drew red and blue rectangles symbolizing good and bad and how they didnt mesh well and it caused conflict.

What does "I think, therefore I am" mean now that you have read Descartes' writings and explored his philisophical viewpoints in class?

After reading and really understanding Decorates reading I'm shook. His reasoning for everything is so complex that it is confusing. At that time period, people really questioned everything thing more than today because today we have way more knowledge than we did 400 years ago. I think, therefore I am in my view point means that when you think you can't doubt your existence because you are thinking, making you exist.

A French Philosopher named  Rene descartes wrote the quote “I think therefore I am”. The quote "I think therefore I am" is the translation for “Cogito, ergo sum.” The original wording is “I am, I exist,”, but it means the same thing.  you read the above quote from the Meditation II you see that Descartes has disproved everything that he is used to believing in. When there’s nothing left he still is left with himself and nothing else. Regardless of whether or not he is being deceived by some demon or his beliefs are wrong, he is able to see that even if he has the ability to doubt something he must be existing to even doubt it in the first place. The fact that he can think is what assures himself of his own existence, and a deceiving god cannot negate that. From this point on, Descartes can continue in his examination of reality without worry that he is by all means existing.
